By: Easton Corbin
Release Date: March 2, 2010
Easton Corbin’s “easy listening” approach and striking vocal resemblance to another Mercury Records power player really put this Florida native on the Nashville map. His debut single, “A Little More Country Than That”, truly provides a prelude into who he is and what to expect in his self-titled, debut album.
“This song identifies who I am,” Corbin said in a press statement. “It shows character and that’s important where I’m from. You learn to say ‘yes, ma’am’ and ‘no, sir,’ and to open the door for the ladies.”
That down-home politeness and no-doubt country will prove well for Corbin in country music. Making music and entertaining is something he hopes to stick around for awhile.
“I just want to make great country music,” Corbin said in a press statement. “Just the opportunity to play music for a living is a great thing. I’m just thankful to have the opportunity to do what I’m doing now.”
