In 2008, CountryMusicChicago.com was created to promote country music events, deliver news and promote the musical arts in Chicago, its surrounding suburbs and Northern Illinois and become a one-stop resource for all things country music in Illinois. CountryMusicChicago.com works closely with event venues, media outlets, promoters and artists to bring its users current news and information about upcoming events in Chicago.

Country Music Chicago Magazine, currently in development stages, was created to highlight country music themed events in Chicago, while at the same time, becoming a major information resource to help promote the musical arts in Chicago and become an archive Chicago’s country music heritage.

One of CountryMusicChicago.com and Country Music Chicago Magazine main focus is to highlight the amazing talent of country music artists from Nashville and around the nation, as-well-as provide a venue for aspiring talent in Chicago.

CountryMusicChicago.com acknowledges the City of Chicago and the State of Illinois for its long-time commitment to the country music arts. Annually, the City of Chicago hosts the Chicago Country Music Festival and in 2008, it became a two day independent festival at Soldier’s Field.
